So how can you help an elderly family member, friend or neighbor you think may be in trouble? There are many help-lines, hotlines and referral sources right here in the state of Florida. The Elder Helpline is available Monday- Friday from 8am to 5pm. Call 1-800-963-5337 for assistance or services. The Elder Helpline is a starting point, its part of an information and referral network providing people with information, choices and opportunities.
