Steve Burton Returns to General Hospital

Two-time Daytime Emmy Award winner Steve Burton exited “General Hospital” five years ago and recently made his powerful return as the mysterious and incredibly dangerous “Patient 6.” 


Steve Burton is best known for his portrayal of Jason Morgan on “General Hospital” from 1991 to 2012 and Dylan McAvoy on “The Young and the Restless” from 2013 to 2017. He is a five-time Daytime Emmy Award nominee, and in 1998 won his first Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in “General Hospital.” 


Burton was born in Indianapolis, Indiana and was raised in a suburb of Cleveland before moving to Hollywood. Earlier this year, Burton won his second Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series (“The Young and the Restless”).
