Casa Santo Stefano, Ybor's New Sicilian Restaurant opened back in November on 22nd Street. The restaurant is located in a former 1925 macaroni factory. The restaurant celebrates the Sicilian immigrant families who moved to Tampa in the early 1900s. The restaurant, created by the Columbia Restaurant Group, features hand-made ingredients from Sicily, including cheese, salt, water, pastas and wines as well as decor imported from Sicily's artisans. The restaurant recently began offering lunch every day from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m., in addition to dinner. We sit down with Executive Chef, Alessio Selleri to learn more about their authentic dishes.
