We're now just two and a half weeks away from Thanksgiving, and new details of the Black Friday sales are coming out all the time.
Target, Kohl's, and JC Penney have all announced that they will be opening at 8 p.m. on Thanksgiving evening, matching the start time set by Macy's last month.
Toys R Us and Best Buy are starting even earlier, at 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. respectively.
Target Black Friday
Target has unveiled that it will move up its Thursday night opening by an hour, from 9 p.m. in 2012 to 8 p.m. this year.
The store has just released a preview of its doorbuster sales on its website.
Along the hot deals at Target:
-50 inch Element 1080p HDTV: $229
-Samsung 40" 1080p Smart TV: $337
-Beats by Dre Solo headphones: $119
-Nikon DSLR camera: $99
-Nintendo 3DS: $149
But it says it will offer hundreds of special markdowns on its website beginning early Thanksgiving morning, for shoppers who do not want to deal with the crowd on Thursday evening.
Kohl's, which is also opening at 8 p.m., has released a sneak preview of its doorbuster deals.
One of the highlights is $15 of free Kohl's Cash ( to spend in the store) with every $50 you spend on Thanksgiving evening or Black Friday.
It is also trying to be a "one stop" Black Friday store, by offering an LG 42 inch 1080p HDTV for just $379, matching the Black Friday price of several electronics stores.
Kohl's is also selling a 23 inch Apex HDTV for just $139 ( no word on how many each store will have, however).
Penney's, also opening at 8 p.m., will give early shoppers a $25 off coupon when you purchase $100 in JC Penney gift cards.
Like Macy's, Penney's will offer $9 kitchen electrics (like blenders, slow cookers, and waffle makers) as part of its sale.
As always, don't waste your money.
