Beef 'O' Brady's is known for its sports bar and customers watching good games, but one location once again did not score well with state inspectors.

Over the weekend, Beef 'O' Brady's at 1231 US Highway 41 North in Inverness was closed due to live roaches crawling near the food you eat.

The state forced the restaurant to shut down on Friday August 5 when they noticed over 45 roaches near the walk-in cooler, cook's line, chicken station, on the prep table, under cooking equipment, and in the dishwashing area.

Inspectors went back on Saturday August 6 and Monday August 8 to re-inspect the restaurant but found more roaches so they kept the place closed.

And it's not the first time the state has shut down this Inverness location for a roach problem.

Our ABC Action News I-Team uncovered that eight months ago on December 8, 2015, Beef 'O' Brady's was temporarily closed due to live roaches crawling near food then too.

This last Friday, inspectors also discovered food at dangerous temperatures in the coolers that could make you sick.

Some items include milk at 46°, ground beef at 48°, cooked beef at 54°, cheese at 47° and macaroni and cheese at 51°.

All cold food should be held at 41 degrees or below.

The state also documented the dish machine not sanitizing properly and ordered the restaurant to discontinue use until it's repaired.

Inspectors found a hole in the wall near the cook's line on Friday, and it still wasn't fixed by Monday, so they issued the restaurant an administrative complaint.

Late Monday night ABC Action News learned the restaurant will not be reopening due to the history of violations.
