Pete Williams Fitness: Trail running

Trail running, it's a great way to liven up your running routine in order to get off the roads and onto the trails.

If you haven't done it before, you're not going to be as fast as usual - about 75 percent of your usual speed.

Don't hunch over - maintain that good posture with shoulders back.

There's not always water available, so be sure to have adequate hydration.  

You're more likely to fall down if you're not looking ahead, so make sure you're paying attention to your surroundings and leave the iPod at home.
