All eyes are on "April" the giraffe at Animal Adventure Park in Harpusville, NY because she is about to give birth to her calf any minute now.

The giraffe baby watch is being live streamed by the Animal Adventure Park and it has everyone stopping what they're doing to try and catch the baby giraffe make its grand debut.

April is 15-years-old. Her calf will weigh about 150 pounds and be about 6 feet tall at birth. The Giraffe Conservation Foundation says the average gestation period for a giraffe is about 15 months.

You can watch the live stream on our ABC Action News facebook page. But be warned, you may not get a thing done while the stream is going.

On Friday morning, the Animal Adventure Park posted an update on April's progress. They said:

"April is looking great! She was monitored throughout the evening and around 3:55 am EST and again at 4:15 am EST, physical posturing and other activity observed would suggest we are close. Park staff was alerted by Night Watch and were on stand by. Things did calm down, however there continues to be a large amount of visible movement within April's body.

Her and Oliver will both enjoy yard time today, but are kept separate due to April's condition. His rambunctious play for an extended period could have negative effects. Boys will be boys.

Veterinary observation will take place again today, as it does every day, to ensure all is well with mom and unborn calf."
