Friday, October 20

Tim McGraw and Faith Hill at Amalie Arena

Tim McGraw and Faith Hill are coming to Tampa! The duo will be performing their ‘Soul2Soul The World Tour 2017’ at Amalie Arena on Friday night. The concert begins at 7:30 p.m. Tickets start at $69.50. 

Sesame Street Live! at The Mahaffey Theater

Jump to the beat on Sesame Street at an all-new, interactive show that unfolds on one of the world’s most famous streets at the funniest, furriest party in the neighborhood! The show kicks off at 6 p.m. at The Mahaffey Theater in St. Pete.

Tampa Theatre presents: The Rocky Horror Picture Show

Come watch The Rocky Horror Picture Show at the historic Tampa Theatre! A shadow cast will provide a live pre-show at 10:00 p.m. and audience participation throughout the film. Guests are encouraged to bring their own toilet paper, cards, newspapers, toast and other props – but please, no hot dogs, rice or water guns. Tickets are $15 for general admission. The movie begins at 10:30 p.m. 

Clearwater Chalk Art Festival

For three days, over 40 talented chalk artists will transform the sidewalks of Beachwalk on South Clearwater Beach into spectacular larger-than-life-canvases, allowing the public to get a rare glimpse into the way art is produced in all stages of progress. This family-friendly festival also includes a kid's zone, arts and crafts vendors, live music, and a one-of-a-kind open-air gallery on one of America's best beaches! The 3-day event begins Friday at 9 a.m. and it’s free to the public.

Zombie Farm Paintball Hayride in Lakeland

What is Zombie Farm Paintball Hayride? It’s a 20-minute hayride, in the dark, that takes you through Zombie Farm’s infectious zones. There have been reports of the living dead lurking in the night, especially around swampy areas. They will supply you with a paintball gun for your protection against these creatures. Make sure you don't shoot all your paintballs in one spot, and hope you have good aim! Be very careful and use caution, or you may go home as a zombie… Check it out at CornFusion Maze in Lakeland.

2017 Bolt Run

Get your mark! Get set! RUN! The 17th Annual Florida Hospital Bolt Run kicks off Saturday at 5:30 a.m. near Amalie Arena. This year’s race will once again consist of a 5K, 5-mile, and 1-mile family fun run. The event will span the entire morning and will feature family-friendly activities on Ford Thunder Alley.

6th Annual Florida Dachshund Rescue Wienerfest

Bring your leashed dogs to this fun event that benefits the Florida Dachshund Rescue. There will be a wiener dog race and dog costume contest. It’s all at the Florida State Fairgrounds on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. 

Tampa Bay Wing Fling at Curtis Hixon Park

Join a foodie’s paradise at the Tampa Bay Wing Fling at Curtis Hixon Park as you eat and taste the area’s best wings in one place! Try them all and vote for the best one! Pair your wings with refreshing beer, wine and your favorite signature drinks. Wing Fling is a fun outdoor festival for everyone. Enjoy games and fun activities, live bands on stage all day, and enjoy the amazing fall weather with your friends and family. The event begins at 12 p.m. 

Tampa Bay Lightning vs. Pittsburg Penguins

Come watch the Tampa Bay Lightning take on the Pittsburgh Penguins at Amalie Arena on Saturday night! The game starts at 7 p.m.

Howl-O-Scream at Busch Gardens

No soul is safe at Tampa Bay’s premier Halloween event, Howl-O-Scream 2017. From Sept. 22 - Oct. 29, take on terrifying haunted houses & roaming hordes. Unexpected terrors lurk around every corner, including hundreds of roaming creatures, new haunted houses and exciting live, interactive entertainment. As if that wasn’t enough, Busch Gardens’ Howl-O-Scream is the only place to scream your way through Florida’s top thrill rides in the dark. Get ready for guts, gore and seriously sinister fun! 

The Halloween Hustle 5K at Gadsden Park

The Halloween Hustle is a series of family-friendly Halloween-themed 5K fun run at Gadsden Park. Cowboys, clowns and caped crusaders are all welcome! Be sure to get your picture in front of the Halloween-themed photo screen, get an official Halloween Hustle cape and finisher's medal, and enjoy the fun for all ages. The Halloween Hustle wants to put the "Happy" in Halloween! The race begins at 8 a.m.
