Friday, November 3

What: Gavin DeGraw Raw Tour

Event Info: Multi-platinum selling singer, performer and songwriter Gavin DeGraw is coming to Tampa! He will be performing his Raw Tour at Capital Theatre in Clearwater on Friday night. 

What: WiLD 94.1's Last Damn Show

Event Info: Get ready for a hype hip-hop event in Tampa Bay! The Last Damn Show will feature Chance the Rapper, Ludacris, Lil Uzi Vert, Lecrae and Jessie Reyez on Friday night at Amalie Arena!

What: Stand-Up Comedy with Tom Cotter

Event Info: If laughter is the best medicine, prepare to be heavily medicated. Tom Cotter's high energy, rapid-fire style of comedy leaves audiences clutching their sides and rolling in the aisles. Recently, Tom became the first comedian to ever reach the finals of NBC’s “America’s Got Talent." He will be performing Friday night at Side Splitters in Tampa.

What: St. Pete Asian Lantern Festival

Event Info: Come check out the inaugural St. Pete Asian Lantern Festival! There will be plenty of live music, local beer, Asian-inspired food truck cuisine and over 200 lanterns strung up throughout the festival. This event is also pet-friendly! 

What: Beethoven’s Symphony No. 7
When: 8 p.m. - 10 p.m.
Where: Carol Morsani Hall - Straz Center at 564 North Boulevard, Tampa

Event Info: “Every bit of it has such rhythmic drive and power. It’s just sort of this magnetic pulse.” That’s how Music Director Michael Francis describes Beethoven’s jubilant Symphony No. 7, which evokes the feeling of dance. It’s a fitting way to mark 50 years since the official merger of the St. Petersburg Symphony and the Tampa Philharmonic on Nov 2, 1967. Joining the celebration is French Canadian pianist Alain Lefevre, who makes his TFO debut on his specialty, Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 4. He’s one of the few pianists who performs the original 1926 version. The concert kicks off with Bartok’s Dance Suite, a collection of folk songs from around the world.

The Two-Head Calf Fest will feature live music, food trucks, craft beers by Flying Boat Brewing and St. Pete Brewing Company and of course admission to Alligators & Oddities exhibit highlighted by nearly a 100-year-old two-headed calf.

Event Info: The India Festival Tampa Bay showcases all aspects of the rich culture and heritage from India. Enjoy a variety of delectable Indian cuisine, browse through Indian garments, handicrafts, jewelry and much more. All proceeds generated at this event are invested back into the community to promote youth education and maintain rich Indian Heritage; a culture that is known worldwide for its music and dances. At its core, India Festival Tampa Bay is a festival of arts and dances in which nearly 1,000 participants from all ages come to showcase their talents.

What: Fall Out Boy Concert

What: Tracy Morgan Stand-Up Comedy

Event Info: Back by popular demand, Straz LIVE! in the Park features a lively concert of familiar arias sung by our very own Opera Tampa Singers and favorite tunes performed by visiting Broadway artists. For many in the community, this is their introduction to opera. For others, it is a joyful reunion with operatic gems and Broadway favorites known the world over. Bring your picnic lunch and enjoy a delightful afternoon of beautiful music.
