Passion is approximately 6 years old, heart worm negative, spayed female American Bully. She came to ARF'N through Lake County Animal Services. She was taken from a property presumed to be used for Dog Fighting and breeding. Her puppies were also taken from the property and it is obvious she has been bred numerous times. She was covered in bite wounds on her face, neck, legs and most seriously her ears. Her already cropped ears were shredded and full of infection. Her chest and neck were also infected. She required multiple surgeries and drains in her ears and chest to drain the infection, 8 weeks of antibiotics and eventually a total ablation of her right ear. Through all of this she was gentle and sweet to everyone she met. She has an amazing gift of forgiveness. She loves people, loves to snuggle and is learning to be a real dog. She is curious and not aggressive with other animals. We are introducing her very slowly to other animals and to the big wonderful world around her. She loves to go for car rides and short walks, but mostly she loves just snuggling on the couch.
