Pet of the week: Jewels is a 6-year-old Florida brown dog seeking her forever home

Are you looking to adopt a super sweet dog to call your own? Jewels may be the pooch you have been searching for.

She is a 6-year-old Florida brown dog, which is a kind of hound mix, She knows basic commands, is house and crate trained.

Shelter workers report Jewel has never made a mess in the house and does not chew on shoes or other household items.

Jewel loves being outside, but her favorite thing is spending alone time with her human companions. She loves to cuddle and can be a real goof ball at times. Jewel does have a lot of energy, but after play time is done she is ready to relax. She is great with older kids.

People interested in adopting Jewel should not have any other pets in their household as Jewel is scared of other dogs both large and small. She has not been tested with cats. Jewel is spayed and up-to-date on her shot.
