Siku the polar bear is making a big splash on the internet

DENMARK - Siku the polar bear, has gained national attention after making his YouTube debut.

The adorable baby polar bear was saved shortly after birth at the Scandinavian Wildlife Park in Denmark. His mother was unable to produce milk to keep him alive, so caregivers at the zoo quickly stepped in after realizing the issue.

As the bear began to grow, caregivers documented the bear being bottle-fed, taking naps and figuring out how to use his legs.

Now, Siku can be seen 24 hours a day, playing in his habitat dwelling at the zoo. His name translates to "sea ice."

The zoo hopes that adoration for the cute cub will make people more aware of their carbon footprint and the affect it has on polar bears' natural habitats.
