Inaugural Gasparilla Music Festival comes to Curtis Hixon Park

TAMPA - The very first Gasparilla Music Festival features 20 bands on three stages and food from many Tampa Bay area restaurants and food trucks.

General admission tickets can be purchased for $20 at the gate. The box office opens at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, accepting cash or credit cards.  The actual event kicks off at 11 a.m. at Curtis Hixon Park and Kiley Gardens.

ABC Action News contributor and Tampa Bay Times music critic, Sean Daly, talked to some of the bands before the show.
