TAMPA BAY - Temperatures are dropping and people all over the Bay Area are working to make sure everyone has a warm place to rest.
Shelters will be open overnight Monday January 2, 2012 and Tuesday, January 3, 2012.

In Pinellas County, the following shelters are open from 6:00p.m. to 6:00a.m. for adults only:

Donations
The Bethune Park Rural Shelter and the Brandon Community Center are accepting donations of shelter supplies, such as disinfectant wipes, disposable cups, coffee, creamer, paper plates, plastic utensils, and sugar. Those wishing to donate supplies should contact each individual shelter.

Meals for the shelters are provided through Metropolitan Ministries. Those wishing to donate non-perishable items should contact Metropolitan Ministries at (813) 209-1000.
