TAMPA - To avoid losing your grill, bring your grill inside. But what should you do about storing propane tanks?

  • Securely fasten them outdoors, perhaps tying them to a tree or column of your house.
  • You can also store it inside the trunk of your car, if you are leaving your car outside (not in the garage).
  • DO NOT store your propane tanks in your garage. Propane is very volatile and flammable.
  • If the tank leaks, all it takes is a tiny spark for a fire to start.
