Water main break, bridge replacement among Monday's traffic trouble spots

TAMPA - TARPON SPRINGS: Florida Avenue remains closed at Forde Avenue due to water main break that occurred over the weekend. Crews are working to reopen the road today. Northbound Florida Avenue traffic can detour east to Peninsula, then north on Riverside Drive back to Florida Ave. Southbound traffic detour to Riverside Dr.

WINTER HAVEN: Motorists used to traveling 17th Street NW between Lake Howard and Havendale Boulevard will have to find an alternate route. Work to the replace the 17th Street NW bridge that spans the canal between lakes Cannon and Mirror begins today. The project will require closure of 17th Street NW in the area of the bridge. An alternate route will be required during the six-month project. 6th St/US-17 is an option.
