Traffic notes for Monday, June 11: What you need to know today

TAMPA - HOWARD FRANKLAND: Delays SB I-275 from the Tampa side of the bridge to the hump, thanks to a pick-up truck hauling a flatbed trailer that jackknifed on the bridge. Use Courtney Campbell or Gandy if you're in a rush.

TODAY'S CONSTRUCTION:

CLEARWATER/SAFETY HARBOR: Center lane of SB McMullen Booth Rd is closed at the CSX RR Xing south of SR-590 because of a failure of the crossing's approach slab. Beginning at 10 AM Tuesday, additional southbound lanes will be closed. The curbside lane will be open, but congestion and delays should be expected. US-19, Belcher or Keene are alternates.

I-275 TAMPA: SB exit to EB I-4 may be closed tonight, 11PM to 5:30AM, for maintenance. DETOUR: Use Exit 45A to Jefferson Street. Turn left onto Scott Street and use entrance ramp to eastbound I-4.

I-275 TAMPA: 2 of 3 lanes scheduled to be closed on NB I-275 from Busch Blvd/Exit 50 to just north of Fowler Ave/Exit 51, 9PM to 7AM (although usually all lanes are open by 5AM). Expect delays before midnight.

I-4 HILLSBOROUGH: Lane closures possible in both directions of I-4 between McIntosh Rd/Exit 14 & Branch Forbes Rd/Exit 17, 8PM - 6AM for paving work. (Sunday-Thursday)

8:08 -- HOWARD FRANKLAND: Trailor trailer rollover, SB I-275 toward St. Pete. Left lane blocked. Traffic starting to jam up.

7:58 -- I-4 TAMPA: Generally bunched up, WB from 50th St through I-275 junction

7:49 -- I-75 MANATEE CO: Crash blocking right lane of SB I-75 near MM 224/US-301. Impacts traffic SB toward JD Young Bridge.

7:45 -- I-275 MANATEE CO: Crash SB @ MM 4, past US-19 in the Palmetto area. No roadblock reported.

7:43 -- RUSKIN: Another crash for you... US-41 @ Shell Point Rd. No roadblock reported.

7:41 -- NEW PORT RICHEY: Crash with roadblock reported on Little Rd @ Citizen Rd.

7:34 -- SEFFNER: Crash on SR-574/MLK & Pine St.

7:28 -- TARPON SPRINGS: Right lane blocked SB US-19 at Cypress approaching Tarpon Ave. Fire Dept, EMS working the crash there.

7:24 -- I-275 TAMPA: A little sluggish NB exiting the Howard Frankland & through the Westshore area, but no significant delays.

7:19 -- RUSKIN: Crash/roadblock reported on College Ave/674 @ 30th St SE, west of I-75.

7:17 -- TAMPA/NORTHDALE: HCSO on scene of crash on Hutchinson & Rawls Rd

7:16 -- TARPON SPRINGS: Accident reported on US-19 north of Tarpon Ave @ Cypress St. per EMS

6:59 -- I-75 TAMPA: Crash w/roadblock at SB 75 & Fletcher. Originally reported as I-275. HSCO already on scene.

6:54 -- I-275 TAMPA: Crash w/injuries reported on Fletcher ramp to SB I-275. Can't see it yet on traffic cam, but 275 seems to be moving OK.

6:50 -- PALM HARBOR: Hit and run w/injuries on SB McMullen Booth past Curlew Rd. EMS on scene.

6:28 -- INTERSTATES, bridges are looking good.

6:16 -- ST. PETERSBURG: 1st Ave closed btwn 16th St S and 13th St S for RR repairs. Use Central.

6:02 -- VETERANS EXWY drive time SB from Van Dyke to I-275 exits = 13 minutes.

5:57 -- I-4 HILLSBOROUGH: Crash reported on the WB ramp to Exit 19. I see a car on shoulder w/lights on flash, but that's it.

5:29 -- I-75 TAMPA: Video in now of the crash on the 75 exit to Selmon/301. Pick-up rear-ended a flat-bed truck hauling trees.

5:13 -- SEMINOLE: EMS responding to crash on Starkey @ 91st Terrace, south of Bryan Dairy Rd.

5:05 -- I-75 TAMPA: SB lanes have reopened near US-301, however traffic is slow. Emergency crews are in right median. Accident is on the 301 frontage road parallel to 75.

4:57 -- I-75 TAMPA: All SB lanes are CLOSED near the US-301/Selmon exits. Bayflite called to scene of crash on the exit. DETOUR: Exit 257/SR-60, west onf 60/Adamo to US-301. SB on 301 back to I-75.
