ST. PETERSBURG - The eastbound travel lanes on the Pinellas Bayway Bridge (from St. Pete Beach) will be closed 9 A.M. until approximately 6 P.M. for paving operations, according to the Florida Department of Transportation. Emergency vehicles will be directed through the work zone if needed during the detour. All other vehicles will be detoured north on Gulf Blvd. to the Corey Causeway.
Once the paving operation is complete, all traffic will be shifted to the new span of the Pinellas Bayway Bridge (one lane in each direction) until the other new span can be constructed.
