TAMPA - Pinellas Park police are investigating a fatal accident involving a motorcycle that occurred around 3 AM on northbound US-19 and 118th Ave N/Bryan Dairy Rd Thursday. Northbound lanes of traffic were closed until 8:30 AM. No information on the drivers involved is available yet.
A Hillsborough County detention deputy was injured in an accident in Tampa this morning. It appears the officer ran into the back of a truck at the intersection of MLK & US-301.

7:20 -- PINELLAS PARK UPDATE: Northbound US-19 remains closed, 110th to 126th aves, due to fatal crash @ 118th. 49th is alternate (but it's slow)
7:16 -- I-75 MANATEE CO: SLOW traffic northbound on the JD Young Bridge in Ellenton area. Left lane blocked by EMS working a crash @ MM 225
7:11 -- LAKELAND: Crash with injuries, but no roadblock, at US-98 & Lakeland Acres.
6:57 -- TAMPA: An off-duty Hillsborough Co Sheriff's deputy is involved in an accident at US-301 & MLK. He reportedly has minor head injuries.
