TAMPA - Another Tampa Bay-area roadway has been closed as part of an ongoing CSX project to replace railroad tracks.
Thursday, August 22, FDOT and CSX closed 50th Street (US-41) in both directions at the railroad crossing located north of Adamo Drive (SR-60). The road closure is anticipated to be in place approximately two weeks, although a similar project recently on Adamo Drive was wrapped up in less than a week.
Access to all businesses will be maintained up to the railroad crossing, but through traffic will be detoured to 39th Street via Adamo Drive and 7th Avenue/Broadway.
