ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) - Central Florida president John Hitt says athletic director Keith Tribble is resigning amid allegations of recruiting violations in the school's football and basketball programs.

Wide receivers coach David Kelly, the football program's top recruiter, also has resigned, The school has suspended basketball coach Donnie Jones for three games and given him a letter of reprimand after Hitt says he ""failed to maintain a culture of compliance." UCF football coach George O'Leary was not cited for wrongdoing by the NCAA in the report.

Hitt announced the moves Wednesday at a news conference to discuss a notice of allegations the school received this week from the NCAA.

UCF received an inquiry letter in August for violations that occurred in its football program between 2007 and 2009 involving the relationship Ken Caldwell, a recruiter for a professional sports agency and associate Brandon Bender.
