TAMPA - That was quite the NFL Pro-Bowl.

A blow out win for the NFC, and a small group of fans storming the field, which precipitated a chorus of laughter among the players.

For the purest, you would say this Pro-Bowl was embarassing.

Who are we kidding. It was an embarassment, period.

The league itself set up this fiasco.

It was obvious, no one, and I mean no one from the AFC came to play.

It wasn't even a half-hearted effort.

Wonder why?

Was it more than saving one-self from injury?

Could the impending lockout have anything to do with wasting precious prime time air time?

I think both.

Earlier in the day, we witnessed the NHL's version of the game's greats on ice.

Outside of seeing Martin St. Louis, Steven Stamkos and Former Bolt Brad Richards on the same line, this game your typical shootout.

By the way, Richards becomes an unrestricted free agent July 1. Lightning fans can only dream.

Anyone see St. John's 15 point win over #3 Duke? That was a schlacking! Not a good weekend for college hoops top 25ers.

Four top 10 teams lost, 11 total among the big guns, including Florida and Florida State.

By the way, St. John's has exactly two more Big East wins than USF in conference play.

Hmm.

We apparently have another up and comer on the PGA Tour. His name is Jhonathan Vegas from Venezuela. His win two weeks ago and tied for third this past week will likely put him on the front cover of some golf publication.

Of course, playing here in the states, he is now called Johnny Vegas.

As Peter Kostis said to Vegas after Saturday's round, " Your now called Johnny Vegas, whether you like it or not."

Thanks, Pete.

This weekends Champions Tour featured a two-man alternate shot Skins Game in Hawaii.

Guess who won? Yep. The oldest tandem of the group, 61-year old Tom Watson and 71-year old Jack Nicklaus.

They defending their title no less against the likes of Fred Couples/Nick Price, Bernhard Langer/Mark O'Meara and Ben Crenshaw/Fuzzy Zoeller.

Best line of the tournament came from Zoeller, asking Crenshaw, " What part of the rough would like me to hit this thing."

Zoeller and Crenshaw were all over the golf course, rarely hitting a fairway.

At Torrey Pines, it was lefty vs.Lefty, with lefty Bubba Watson beating out Phil Mickelson by a shot.

Young Watson can absolutely smash that golf ball. He doesn't have the quintessential swing, but who am I to talk.

He won a million this weekend. However, the Korun household won the lotto.

Our water bill was normal!

One final thought: Steelers or Packers? I think these two teams WILL come to play.
