TAMPA - An MRI done on Legarrette Blount’s neck and back have come back negative.
That word coming tonight following an examination by a specialist in Charlotte.
So the mystery is over. Blount is cleared to practice tomorrow.
The Bucs played it cautious with Blount because of the nature he went down after what was a benign run.
The Bucs now believe that Blount suffered a stinger, which can numb the affected area, which is why Blount went down in such an awkward way.
The preliminary conclusion was the Blount suffered what appeared to be a foot cramp, which can be painful and impossible to walk on.
In any case, Blount is fine and will be suited up tomorrow at One Buc.
