OFF EGMONT KEY, Fla. - Four boaters were rescued from water off Egmont Key as their boat burned Sunday afternoon, according to the US Coast Guard.
A USCG officials said the boaters were in the water as their boat burned, but were not injured. It was not yet know if they jumped in the water or were ejected from the boat.
A Good Samaritan nearby plucked the boaters from the water. They were taken back to mainland by FWC.
Emergency crews with the USCG and Eckerd College responded to assist.
