ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla. - A Pasco County woman at an Orlando area Walmart was arrested for disorderly conduct after she threw a fit and a few items around the store during the early start to “Black Friday”.
Security at the Altamonte Springs Walmart requested that officers respond to the front of the store, where shoppers were getting into arguments over people cutting to the front of the line about 10:30 Thursday night.
When police approached they crowd, they saw 28-year-old Samantha Chavez attempt to pass the long check out lines, and she walked pass the officer controlling the lines.
Officers told Chavez to follow the appropriate procedures and lines for checkout. She said okay, but tried to walk past the location the officer where she was told to go.
Officials say she was given instructions several more times, but she refused to listen and began to scream.
When the officer tried to escort her out of the store, she started throwing items on the floor and pulled away from the officer.
She was placed under arrest and charged with disorderly conduct and resisting an officer without violence.
