Teen overhears mom having sex, asks 911 to place her in Christian shelter

PANAMA CITY, Fla. - A Panama City teen called 911 and asked to be placed in a Christian children’s shelter after she heard her mother having sex, the Smoking Gun reports.

The 15-year-old admitted that she hadn’t suffered any form of abuse or neglect in the home, but she made it clear to police that she didn’t appreciate her mother’s behavior.

When officers responded to the domestic disturbance call 4:00 a.m. last Thursday, they questioned the daughter and her 35-year-old mother, who had been in a verbal altercation.

The mother said that her boyfriend had come over and during their visit, the daughter overheard them having sex.

The girl said although she hadn’t suffered abuse, she was upset and felt disrespected.

However, when the daughter spoke with a shelter representative she decided not to go because it was almost time for school.

The officer responding to the case left a domestic rights brochure at the home.
