PORT CANAVERAL, Fla. - A mother returning from a Disney Dream cruise with her family Monday was greeted at a Florida cruise terminal by authorities waiting to arrest her.
The issue--- a warrant for her arrest involving a pack of cigarettes she stole from a WalMart over 20 years ago, according to WESH Orlando. ( http://bit.ly/11NXtLQ )
Robin Hall, 40, was just 18-years-old when she shoplifted cigarettes. The problem is, she failed to pay $85 in court costs.
Since committing the crime, she earned an architecture degree and designs engines for a company in Connecticut, but apparently, the unsettled fee followed her.
When authorities were checking the cruise’s passenger list for terrorists, they discovered Hall’s warrant.
They waited for her to return from her Disney Dream cruise, which Hall says was a dream vacation for her, her husband and her two kids.
She was taken into custody Monday and wasn’t allowed to post bail at the Orange County jail because she had to be transferred. The issue is expected to be cleared up by Thursday.
