Miniature horse one of three found slaughtered for black market, human consumption in South Florida

HIALEAH, Fla. - The head, limbs and additional remains from a miniature horse were found on the side of a South Florida road Monday and authorities are searching for the suspects, according to a report by CBS 4.

The horse’s meat is believed to have been harvested for the black market, where it is purchased for human consumption.

The 5-year-old animal was found at the same exact location another slaughtered miniature horse was located less than a month ago.  Authorities say this is the third slaughter in the past two months .
