Several brands of bagels sold at Publix Supermarkets have been recalled due to metal fragments, according to the company.
The metal fragments inside the bagels were caused by a faulty manufacturing part, the Food Poisoning Bulletin reports.
The affected bagel products include several varieties of the Thomas, Weight Watchers, Sara Lee, Everything and Publix brands with the “Best Buy” dates of Jan. 18 and Jan. 27.
The breads were sold in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina and Tennessee.
