Mike Tyson style attack: Girlfriend accused of biting off boyfriend's ear in Florida home

VOLUSIA COUNTY - A Florida man is missing half of his ear after getting into a fight with his girlfriend earlier this week.

The confrontation happened in their Deland home Monday evening.

53-year-old Steve Bolin didn’t call police on his girlfriend, 32-year-old Sarah Wulchak, at first, because he wasn’t sure he wanted to press charges, according to the Daytona Beach News Journal.

But after seeing how bad his ear looked, he went ahead and made the call.

The two were in Bolin’s home, where he was eating spaghetti when an argument began.

When things got physical, Bolin says he went in his room, but Wulchak followed him.

She then reportedly jumped on Bolin’s back, and bit into his ear.

Bolin pulled away when he felt the sharp pain and when he checked in the mirror, he had scratches on his face, and the top half of his left ear was gone.

He decided to press charges the next day. Wulchak is charged with aggravated battery causing bodily harm.

 admits he may have hit Wulchak while pulling away, but isn't sure.
