Governor Rick Scott's mother, Esther Scott dead at 84 after medical complications

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The Florida governor's office is confirming that Rick Scott's mother, Esther Scott, has passed away at the age of 84.
On his Facebook page, the governor Tuesday afternoon thanked supporters for their well wishes and prayers.
Esther Scott was undergoing treatment for an infection and had recently been moved into an intensive care unit.
