OKALOOSA, Fla. - A Florida woman faces multiple charges after she hit her ex-boyfriend with his own prosthetic leg and aimed a shotgun at him, according to Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office release.

Brandon Fleming fled for his life after he and child's mother got into a disagreement over their son.

When 23-year-old Jadian Marie Hatfield and 25-year-old Fleming of Pensacola broke up in February, they verbally agreed to share custody of their 2-year-old child.

In the agreement, Fleming gets the child for two weeks at a time, but after he picked up his child on August 26, the two got into a verbal argument via text messaging.

The following night, Hatfield showed up at Fleming’s Pensacola home and told him she was taking their son.

Fleming said no and went to call the authorities, but Hatfield took the child out of the house throw a bedroom window and went inside a vehicle with two men inside.

When Fleming went outside to take his son back, the two men who accompanied Hatfield began to fight him. Hatfield pulled of her ex’s prosthetic leg and started attacking him with it.

She also pointed a shotgun at him and said she would kill him if he didn’t allow her to take her son and leave.

Fleming fled into his home, but couldn’t call police due to the loss of his phone.

He later went to a relative’s home, where he notified the authorities.

Warrants were issued for Hatfield and she was arrested on August 31. Hatfield had previously gotten into trouble with the law in 2008, when she was convicted with a felony for battery.

She is now charged with aggravated assault, battery, kidnapping a minor/interfering with custody and possession of a weapon by a convicted felon.
