SANFOD, Fla. - The wife of one of Casey Anthony's defense attorneys called the Seminole County Sheriff's Office because of the number of threatening phone calls they've received in recent weeks.
Shirley Mason, whose husband Cheney Mason represented Anthony, told deputies on Tuesday that someone had posted their phone number on Facebook.
Reports indicate callers have left voice mails stating that Anthony "can run but she can't hide" and warning that Mason and attorney Jose Baez "better sleep with one eye open."
On July 5, 25-year-old Anthony was found not guilty of murdering her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee. She left the Orange County Jail early Sunday with Baez and has not been seen in public since.
Shirley Mason told investigators she has many of the recordings and has kept notes on the phone calls.
