OCALA, Fla. - Three men are accused of vandalizing dozens of graves at Highland Memorial Park in Ocala.

They were arrested Tuesday.

Ocala police say 20-year-old Wade Allen Thomas Wagner, 21-year-old Justin DeWight Raney and 21-year-old William David Petty are accused of knocking over at least 56 large marble headstones.

The vandalism was spotted by a worker when he arrived on Sunday. Several empty beer cans and cigarette butts were found around some of the overturned grave markers. Two grave sites had what appeared to be human feces on them.

All three were charged with disturbing contents of a grave or tomb, which is a third degree felony. The trio was processed at the Marion County Jail Tuesday. It's unclear whether they have retained attorneys.
