OCALA, Fla. - Termites are causing programs at the Marion County School District in central Florida.
The Ocala Star-Banner (http://bit.ly/12G6kkp ) reports the district's employment services department had to be removed from its headquarters after a termite infestation was discovered.
Administrators have also discovered termites in the new band room at Howard Middle School. Officials believe the termites might be coming from wood somewhere outside.
The new facility is still under warranty.
Officials hope the school district employment services department repairs will be completed by the end of the county's spring break.
