PENSACOLA, Fla. - A Florida task force charged with reviewing the state's Stand Your Ground law plans to hold its final meeting on Tuesday in Pensacola.

The task force has met and gathered public input throughout the state and will make recommendations to Gov. Rick Scott. The state created the task force after the fatal shooting in February of unarmed 17-year-old Trayvon Marin by neighborhood watch volunteer George Zimmerman.

Zimmerman has pleaded not guilty to second-degree murder and claims he was defending himself under the law. The shooting caused public outrage and raised questions about the law.
