The public is invited to line the escort route in a show of respect for Williams and his family.

SPC Clarence Williams III will arrive at MacDill Air Force Base at 9 AM. Following a ceremony on the tarmac, the escort  will depart MacDill at approximately 9:30 AM. The route from MacDill is as follows:

  • Exit MacDill AFB Bayshore Gate

Williams and Army SSGT Ricardo Seija were among six soldiers who died when their vehicle hit an improvised explosive device in Wardak Province. Seija's body returned home Tuesday, and a similar law enforcement escort was conducted.
