PENSACOLA, Fla. - A national civil rights group says some Florida school districts discriminate against black students in their disciplinary policies.
The Southern Poverty Law Center plans a news conference on the issue Tuesday in Pensacola. The organization claims the districts give a greater proportion of long-term suspensions and other punishments to minority children.
