TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Florida Lt. Gov. Jennifer Carroll will spend the next three days working alongside other lieutenant governors from across the nation.
Carroll is headed to Chicago for the National Lieutenant Governors Association conference.
Carroll will moderate a higher education panel but she is also expected to take in a baseball game between the Miami Marlins and the Chicago Cubs and go on a boat tour that highlights Chicago's architecture.
Carroll has gotten a lot of publicity in recent days after a former aide who was fired contended in a court filing that she had found the lieutenant governor and a female aide in a "compromising position" in Carroll's office. Carroll has called the allegations absurd.
Carroll in emails has vowed to fight the allegations and calls them lies and malicious.
