NAPLES, Fla. - A Collier County woman has been charged with second-degree murder in connection with her husband's death.
A sheriff's office statement says 68-year-old Helen Hope Johns was booked Tuesday morning as authorities continue to investigate the death of 72-year-old Jack Johns.
Authorities say deputies were called to the couple's home late Monday night at the request of a concerned relative. When they arrived they found the Jack Johns dead inside the home. He had been shot.
No further information has been released. It wasn't immediately known if Helen Johns has an attorney.
