If you're a Facebook user, chances are you've posted something you wish could take back or at the very least, clean up without having to start all over.

Well for the about the last month, users have been able to use comment editing, a feature that can be used when replying to an existing comment.

To take advantage of this handy feature, simply click the "X" next to the comment as soon as you realize you want to change what you said.

Clicking the "X" within the first few seconds of posting your comment won't delete your post, your comment will simply will reappear and permit you to edit the post you made.

If you wait too long before clicking the "X", your post will in fact be deleted.

And keep in mind, this neat little trick doesn't work for status updates that you've personally written.
