Samsung will contest a U.S. court ruling on a patent dispute with Apple (AAPL), a Samsung spokeswoman said Saturday.
On Friday, a federal jury recommended that Apple be awarded more than $1 billion in damages after finding Samsung guilty of "willful" violations of a number of Apple's patents in the creation of its own mobile products.
