TAMPA - The social networking site Twitter had a wide-spread outage Thursday afternoon.
According to the website downrightnow.com , the website twitter.com went down at about noon and is considered a major service disruption.
The status page for Twitter reported this information: “Users may be experiencing issues accessing Twitter. Our engineers are currently working to resolve the issue.”
Our attempts to access the service, including through mobile apps, were unsuccessful.
