TAMPA - A tree came toppling down onto two moving cars late Friday afternoon. The incident happened on Hanley Road right before the Fountain Avenue intersection.
One of the drivers of the two cars, Rozaida Viust, told ABC Action News she was slowly coming to a stop at the intersection when she felt the tree crash on top of her car.
It's still unclear what caused the tree to snap. According to Viust, the weather was "normal" and not very windy when it happened.
"I'm still in shock and I'm still shaking," Viust said. "I couldn't believe it."
Traffic was diverted to one lane on Hanley Road for a period of time as county workers removed the tree from the road.
There were no injuries reported.
