DOVER, Fla. - A one year old child and five others were transported to different Tampa hospitals Saturday afternoon after a serious accident on Interstate 4 near Branch Forbes Road.
19 year old Rachel Wallace was driving westbound on I-4 when a rear tire blew, Florida Highway Patrol report.
The tire failure caused Wallace to lose control of the Kia Sportage and cross the center median.
The SUV flipped over as it crossed over the center guardrail coming to a stop in the median.
Passenger Donnell Smith, 18, was ejected from the car and later flown to Tampa General Hospital in serious condition.
One other person was ejected from the SUV.
The four other passengers range in age from 15 to 38.
It is unclear where they were headed and what the relationships are between everyone in the house.
