UPDATE: One dead after fight leads to shooting in Brandon

BRANDON, Fla. - One person is dead after a fight broke out on the 1400 block of Scotch Pine Drive in Brandon Sunday afternoon.
According to spokesman Larry McKinnon, multiple people got into a fight around 3:30 p.m. Witnesses then heard shots being fired.
Shortly after sheriff deputies arrived on scene they found Daniel Oliver, 19, dead from a single gunshot wound to his upper body.
Deputies interviewed witnesses as well as someone they believed may be the shooter.
The issue that sparked the deadly brawl has not been released at this time.
The shooter is in custody, but their name is not being released at this time.
