TAMPA, FL -- According to court documents, on February 2, 2009, Willie Bernard Smith, also known as "Chill Will", traveled from his home in South Carolina to Tampa to sell counterfeit Superbowl t-shirts at Raymond James Stadium.
According to police, approximately 165 bogus t-shirts and one roll of NCAA holograms were seized when Smith was arrested.
Court documents show that Smith pleaded guilty on November 2 and U.S. District Judge James S. Moody Jr. sentenced the 39-year-old to six months in federal prison.
The court also ordered Smith to forfeit all t-shirts and screen printing equipment he may still have in his possesion and to refrain from working in any venue related to the sale or production of clothing merchandise upon his release.
