TAMPA - Sara Kocab, the wife of slain Tampa police officer Jeffrey Kocab, delivered a stillborn baby girl Wednesday morning.
According to statement from the Tampa Police Department, the family knew that Lilly Nicole had a major abnormality that could result in Llilly being stillborn or only live a limited time after delivery.
There is no medical treatment for the undisclosed abnormality.
"The family thanks you for your continued prayer and support. They kindly request that you respect the family's privacy during this time," the statement said.
Dontae Morris, 24, is accused of shooting officers Kocab and Dave Curtis on June 29. He's is being held without bond at the Hillsborough County Jail.
