TAMPA, Fla. - Emergency food assistance

The Department of Children and Families is providing food assistance for those in need after the storm has passed.  Sign up for text and email alerts at http://www.myflfamilies.com/ to receive notification of emergency food services in your area.

Red Cross Shelters

As of noon on Sunday the Red Cross has opened nearly 20 shelters in Florida. Call 1-800-733-2767 for information on the locations.

Pinellas County Shelters

Pinellas County will open the following three shelters in north, mid and south county available at 4 p.m.

  • Dunedin Community Center, 1920 Pinehurst Road, Dunedin
  • Ross Norton Recreation Center, 1426  S. MLK Jr. Ave, Clearwater
  • P-TEC South, 901 34th St. South, St. Petersburg

Pasco County Shelter

The Fasano Regional Shelter, located at 11611 Denton Avenue, Hudson, will open Sunday at noon. If you need transportation assistance call the Resident Information Center at 727-847-2411.
