Valentine's Day recipe: Strawberry Ice Box Pie

Kim Yelvington, Executive Pastry Chef at Bern's Steak House , shared her amazing recipe for Strawberry Ice Box Pie with ABC Action News.

It's a dish served chilled, and you can even make embellishments to further impress your date. The best part - this recipe is NO BAKE!

INGREDIENTS:

For crust

• Graham cracker crumbs - 2 cups
• Butter - 1/2 stick

For filling:

• Cream cheese - 8 oz. package
• Strawberry puree or preserves - 6 oz. or 2/3 cup
• Lightly whipped heavy cream - 8 oz. or 1 cup
• Sugar - 1/4 cup

To assemble the crust, combine the graham cracker crumbs and butter - press into a pie dish or pan

Fluff the cream cheese until soft, then fold in the pureed strawberries and sugar. Lightly whip the heavy cream until soft and fold the cream and strawberry mixture together. Pour into the graham cracker crust. Chill for a few hours and enjoy!
